Rosie & Edward
Creslow Manor, Buckinghamshire
We had a few weddings in May and the last one was in beautiful Buckinghamshire with the lovely Rosie and Edward (Mr & Mrs Blacklock) and their amazing families. Edward and Rosie are a fantastic, creative couple who could not have been more welcoming.
Rosie and Edward loved Chris's style and his personality. They met on the off chance and later that day had booked Chris as their wedding photographer.
We headed off to Creslow Manor where the bridal party were getting ready. Creslow is a unique and beautiful parish nestled in rural Buckinghamshire. The estate is steeped in history and was once used as a grazing ground for the Royal Table. Creslow Manor dates back to the 13th Century and is said to be the oldest continually inhabited house in Buckinghamshire.
The grounds of the Manor offer a stunning location for marquee events including weddings, barbecues, birthdays, garden parties and corporate days. The garden is enclosed with medieval walls which add to the privacy and beauty of Creslow Manor. The 'Old Tennis Court' offers an ideal area for a marquee, whilst the sweeping lawns in front of the manor offer a number of perfect focal points. Creslow Manor is a charming venue.
On the wedding day, it was casual and relaxed. The excitement of the day's events could be seen on the bride and her bridesmaids. We then popped over to see Edward at the local pub with his groomsmen just to capture what they were getting up to before heading back to the bride.
They had an amazing car to transport the father of the bride and Rosie up at the wedding. Its name was 'Rusty' and even though the weather was a bit windy, the smile could not be removed from everyone's faces and a head scarf was effortlessly worn by Rosie.
The church at Hardwick was a small intimate church. After the ceremony guests moved back to Creslow to celebrate well into the evening.
These are a few of our favourites from that wonderful day.
Hope you like them.
